We are a dynamic and forward-thinking company seeking a Network Administrator who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's computer networks. This role involves setting up and monitoring network infrastructure, ensuring network security, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing network performance to meet business needs.

Job responsibilities

Network Setup and Configuration:
- Design, implement, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other data communication systems.
- Install and configure network hardware such as routers, switches, next generation firewalls, and load balancers.
- Set up and configure wireless networking equipment, ensuring a secure and efficient wireless network.
Network Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches to network devices and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Network Security:
- Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and perform regular audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce network access policies and protocols to protect sensitive data.
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Work closely with other IT teams to resolve technical problems and improve network functionality.
- Manage network-related tickets and document resolutions.
Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Implement network backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure network redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place to minimize downtime during outages.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Report on network performance, issues, and security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute upgrades and network expansions.
Collaboration and Planning:
- Assist in planning and deploying new network projects, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is preferred.
In-depth understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Hands-on experience with network hardware and configurations (routers, switches, firewalls, wifi access points etc.).
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose network issues quickly.
Experience with network security practices and devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex network concepts to non-technical staff.
Fluency in Armenian and proficiency in English.
